Hi Don, It has been a very, very long time! I hope this message finds you well?

I'll assume you haven't done this so forgive me if i'm insulting your intelligence. Open Windows Media Player, then go to Tools | Options and then to the Player TAB uncheck where it says,
"Start mini Player for file names that contain this text:"

It's possible you have that set and it's automatically dropping to the min-viewer based on what is the dialogue box.

Let me know.

Many Blessings,

Owen

Okay Owen, here is one that is driving me crazy. When using Windows Media Player to play video files, the player keeps popping off of 'full screen' back to mini-viewer if you are watching a pop-up player, or back to the windowed version if you are using the player in stand-alone mode. So I put it back to full-screen, and a few minutes, sometimes only a few seconds later, it pops back. Re-booting seems to solve it, but then after you've viewed something from the internet through it, same old problem. Any ideas?

Using Windows XP, although I have noticed the same thing on occasion on my new laptop which uses Windows Vista.

Any help is very appreciated!
