Hi Robert, There is a GAP, you are of the younger generation, which means you are more willing to live online. You are also willing to try new things easier, people my age and older struggle with change, with openness and being transparent. I’m generalizing but the generational differences do come into play here. I’m different in the fact that I’m over 50, I’m a computer geek and I’m a geek that is people centric…not many of those around Thanks for posting.

I feel you:) Social media is a tool that is helping people connect in ways they never could before. I started college in 2004 and was among some of the first facebook enthusiasts…before companies started joining the facebook crowd, students were soooo open…more so then in public …as freshman, we utilized facebook to create networks that are still growing today:) Because we were so open/friendly, we learned a LOT more about eachother…because of this initial “social media” experience…i know how to connect with people through social media platforms…its called online social skills…plus continuous movement in a positive direction. Does that make sense?
