I have started to do social media in the last few months and see that it is one of a number of ways an agent must market his properties. However, it is just one way and when you have to deal with vendors, purchasers, enquiries, follow-ups, contracts, tire-kickers, up dating web pages and internal promotional materials and lots more.... it is not always time effective to jump in. I have a flip mino HD and do not like them very much for filming properties as the 16:9 aspect ratio makes the field of view too small for many rooms. I think most agents doing a live open house on ustream would possible do more damage than good and that includes recording video as the quality must look professional - nothing worse than an amature video of a property - and it looks easier to do than it is.
