There are many places to get help learning Twitter on the Internet, and in my opinion, one of the best places is Mike Wesely’s Twittalk.tv Show. With over 30,000 followers, you’ll get a great deal out of his show not to mention you’ll meet some of the coolest people on Twitter. (as Mike puts it) Mike’s servant heart is the first thing that jumps out at you, he is gentle, helpful, curtious and kind. Mike encourages everyone and is grateful for those who come to his show; he’ll tell you and anyone else who will listen how grateful he is you showed up and participated. Fellowship in an online class room without the teacher telling you to shut up 
….it’s great!
The format is really quite simple, you ask questions, Mike answers them and you meet great people. You win and the best part is it’s all free! There are a couple ways to participate on Mike’s show, 1.) You can just join the chat 2.) Register and join chat via Video ( there’s only 6 video windows so come early).
Make sure you follow Mike on Twitter to find out what time his show will airing @Mike_Wesely is his handle. Mike likes #QUOTES and will post many on Twitter so be sure to RT (Retweet) them if you think they are worthy.

Great post Owen. Mike does such a great job sharing his knowledge about Twitter to new and experienced users alike. My favorite part is sharing a common experience with a GREAT group of people including you and several others. The times I’m able to expereince Mike’s show live are always fun and enlightening. The best part for me is having the opportunity to share a common expereince with people I care about and who share of themselves. Owen, as one of the frequent TwitTalk Squares, I could not agree with you more. Partly because Mike Wesely hosts this show almost daily, we get to feel like we really know him. (The occasional cameo appearance by his son Sam helps too!)
Mike’s “Twitter philosophy” is one of generosity, professionalism and respect. It’s hard to imagine a better mentor for the Twitter newbie.
And then of course, there are the “regulars”, who, whether they appear on camera or not, greatly bolster Mike’s effort. Thanks to his ability as a teacher, within no time I found myself offering advice to newbies in the chat as have you and some of the other regulars. It’s one thing to watch the Twittalk.TV replays. It’s another thing entirely to be there live. The chat is more than a free flowing tutorial, it’s a daily party!
So, good for you Owen for highlighting this instructional gem sitting out there in cyberspace!

“OG” – this is really well put. I agree that Mike is a great guy with a generous heart and he has created an exceptional forum to not only have your questions answered by him, but through the CHAT to have them answered by the other members willing to follow his example and help their fellow Tweeters. Plus it’s free and fun to watch when Mike randomly follows the chat to answer questions or see what everyone is up to.
